Alcohol Swab Recall

Most of you probably already know this, but there has been a recall on Triad alcohol swabs. See details from the FDA here.

This got us thinking... should we be keeping track of the lot numbers on everything we use for infusions?  Sterile salines, non sterile salines, heparin,etc, etc, etc.  The crazy in us says "Make a spreadsheet.  Make sure it has pretty colors.  Put it on the fridge for quick access."  The non-crazy-little-bit-lazy in us says "I'm sure that the HTC (or home care company, or pharmacy - whatever)  keeps track of that kind of stuff".

We still haven't decided if we are Team Crazy or Team Lazy.
